I took my sonata to them because the engine had failed and after talking with Hyundai, it was determined that a recall was the culprit of the engine failure and Hyundai would take care of the engine replacement. I scheduled an apt at Autonation Hyundai Brunswick Ga, worst mistake of my life....at least as far as car ownership goes. They hardly ever take your calls, refuse to call you back (Except for the Dodge service advisor Chris, wish he had been my service advisor) and constantly lied to me about what was going on. It took a total of 13 WEEKS to get my car back. They started by not looking at my car on my apt time because they were backed up she said. Well I got no call telling me any of that. I couldn't get anyone on the phone and drove 45 minutes to find out it wasn't even touched.....why make an appointment right? I still had not heard anything after several more days so I finally got the service manager on the phone, he pushed through the approval from Hyundai and so I thought I would be good to go. Nope, I was told I would have to wait because the engine was on back order. Later I asked Hyundai about the "backorder" (after 6 weeks and no car) and Hyundai stated the back order had ended way before I took my car in. After digging and complaining it was admitted to me that they had put my engine in someone else's car and no one had ordered another engine for my car......then when they do finally get my car done, I pick it up and there is damage to my front bumper and down the passenger side of my car. I call and speak to the General Manager about fixing it and he directs me to deal with his used car sales manager Eric Lyons (perfect name because he is a liar), and it would be fixed, I took the car to him and we discussed the options, which he wanted no part of doing anything. we finally settled on buffing as much as possible. he blatantly lied to my face. He never even had them try to buff anything and later admitted that via text messages to me. They washed the car and that was it. There are lots more details about how i begged them to update me but they never would. The only person in that service department worth anything is Chris, but like I said he wasn't on the Hyundai side. he still tried to help me anytime he could. There are so many more things I cant write them all here but I would recommend not doing business there. Even buying a new car simply because you cant trust the service department will look out for you. And definitely not a used car as long as Lyon Eric...I mean Eric Lyons is the used car sales manager....
Sometimes a simple apology is all it takes to make someone feel human again. The service manager called me personally to correct an issue I had earlier this week. Now when a small detail like that is handled like that it just shows how dedicated this place is to great customer service. They did a great job replacing my bumper even took me too and from home while the work was being performed. I will be back for the routine maintenance and other jobs because I know they will done correctly and efficiently. Thanks again Auto Nation.

Customer service at the service department from my experience was THE WORST. My "service advisor" did not help me "the customer" in any way. They had my car for 4 months. I never received assistance with getting a rental car. It was a lot of phone tag with her and the service department. After the 2nd week of them having my car and the 1st email to Hyundai Motors of America, I realized they were only assisting themselves. ( It was a recall) Fortunately, I was able to buy a new car and I would just call AutoNation once every other week on Friday and ask for an update. I called one time and spoke with the parts guy and he told me "The motor is in but we gave some parts to other customers that were waiting longer, so we're just waiting on those parts to come in"???? REALLY! Then the next time I called (2 weeks later) I spoke with my "service advisor" and she said "We're still waiting on the motor, we haven't received it yet" REALLY!!! I told her what the parts guy said and she said "I'll have to verify with him and call you back tomorrow". She didn't call back the next day. The ONLY time she called was when my car was ready for pickup!! My car was filthy, it had been sitting out in the open, exposed to the weather this whole 4 months. They have a detail crew on site, you would think they would at least hose it down! NOPE, NOT THEM. I will NEVER, EVER go back to this place for ANYTHING. And I will discourage anyone from going here.
I literally cannot get service done correctly at this dealership on the first try. Every single time I bring my car in for service, something isn't done right. This time, they had my car for 36 hours and couldn't install wiper blades correctly after 3 tries. Before, I paid for an oil change to find out that they never got a chance to change my oil. When I went to buy a car from them, the employee ran my credit 5 times and wouldn't call me back. After 2 weeks, I called Hyundai and just bought the vehicle through them. Never heard back from the employee that ran my credit numerous times. Then, the cashier today had me waiting for 20 minutes to pay for my service and wanted to have an attitude when I asked if i could please hurry and pay because I had to get to work. She stated how she didn't have my paperwork and told me to go back and get it myself. Sure, I'll do your job for you. I might as well have done everything else myself anyways. (BTW, the warranty we have for the vehicle prefers us to have service done at a Hyundai dealership if possible. That is why we don't just do it ourselves.)
Greg Webb is the only thing holding that service department together. He did everything in his power to get my vehicle fixed so I could get out of there. He was very professional and set me up with a rental when it became apparent that they weren't going to be able to fix my car today.
Everyone was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us find our amazing new car! Great price great service and a great dealership!
