My bro in law loved this place. As a tribute to him we went there for his birthday. The service was not good. We were given the wrong drinks and no straws. The food took to long and one meal a hamburger was prepared raw for a 2 yr old. After taking the food back to recook she only bought half the meal back. My sis never got her food and at the end of the meal for everyone else the waitress admitted to her error. Very unpleasant experience and I personally will not be going back. Needless to a party of 7 was NOT HAPPY

Soup and salad bar with every meal. Terrific seafood chowder. Outstanding sea scallops. Wonderful hushpuppies. Generous portions. Property a bit ragged around the edges, but who cares when the food is this good! Whenever we're in this area again, we'll come here for sure. No alcohol, which some may not like. We had water and ice tea -- perfect.
Captain Joe's Seafood has a tasty Shrimp PoBoy not to be missed. Though the building could use some renovating, the food is outstanding with fast friendly service.
At first I was concerned about the price but when I saw how much you get plus you get a trip to the salad bar I was ok with it. My wife got fried clams and they were a little over cooked. I got the two-fer (grilled scallops and grilled shrimp). Mine was cooked just right and there were generous portions.
