Zero relationship building. No interaction whatsoever. Absolutely dissatisfied.
They wouldn't show me the rental until I filled out paperwork. They wouldn't let me fill out paperwork until I had a weekday off to meet them during business hours. By the time I arrived to fill out paperwork, they had already rented out the place I wanted to see. They said my only option was to waste a trip to their office during business hours every week until they had an opening. I guess they're big fans of Hunger Games.
HORRIBLE!! Don't rent from them!!! I have rented homes from them for the last 2 years and the 1st year the house was full of cobwebs, spiders, and extremely dirty. This past year, I left a key on the counter and called Parker Kauffman and the woman who answered said she would mail it back to me the next day. I live 5 hours away and would expect it within 3-4 days. Well, more than a week later I got a notice on my door that I had to pick it up at the post office 45 minutes away and pay $15.52 because it was sent COD! A key for crying out loud!!! I called Parker Kauffman to let them know that I had rented homes from them the last 2 years and was disappointed about how this was handled and that if I had been told it was being sent COD other than "I will put it in the mail to you tomorrow", I would have offered to send a stamped addressed envelope or paid the extra $5 to have it overnighted. The person I spoke to was "Skip" and he offered no understanding, laughed at me, and said it was my fault that I left the key, and he was extremely rude. I have spent about $2,500 renting from Parker Kauffman over the past 2 years and I assure you, I will NEVER do it again! I have never been treated so rudely and with such disregard and disrespect. Please beware, try VRBO. com or one of the many new hotels being built or any other rental company or you will be sorry! HORRIBLE!!!
