He is a real person. I truly think he is a genius, but more importantly, he is very easy to talk to. He spends real time talking with you and I got the feeling he was a good friend during our first meeting. Amazing!!! I never would have thought there was a doctor like him.

wonderful service. I initially had an issue but after speaking with Katie F. everything has been resolved. She really cared about understanding the problem and getting it corrected. The Brunswick office staff is wonderful! The Dr is amazing! Top notch service!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Gage and the crew. Always very professional, always very kind, always very in depth...It's been a process, but for the first time in many years I am pain free. I personally have never had to wait more then a couple days for an appt. Amazing experience and amazing crew.

Since the Nevro device is considered a voluntary procedure, patients must (I say "get to") go through a trial install. For the trial, the leads are installed next to the spinal cord going from about L1 up to C10 or so, but the battery/controller is outside the body. If it is more than 50% successful, it is then fully installed with the small battery/controller installed under the skin, much like a pacemaker for the heart. In other words, the final install puts everything under the skin. They do not cut through muscle so there is no serious pain involved - unless your doctor perhaps puts you all the way under and perhaps hurts your throat jabbing the tupe down it.

I suggest that anyone with chronic back pain and perhaps considering back surgery, call the spine center and ask for an appointment with Dr. Bovinet. If it had not been for him, I would still be living in pain with no real hope of life without pain.

I consider Dr. Bovinet at the Spine Center in Brunswick, GA to be the best doctor I have ever known - in my whole life and I am now 69 years old and have met with more doctors than I can count regarding my back pain issues over the last 40 years or so. I would recommend any person with pain issues - and especially back issues to see him before doing anything.

Dr. Christopher Bovinet has a 98.4% success rate (rated number one in the world by the manufacturer - Nevro high frequency spinal cord stimulators) at installing the high frequency spinal cord simulator to reduce or remove pain signals getting to the brain. One of my clients - I fix computers on site - got the procedure and I saw him go from a pitiful person limping around his house to a vibrant, energetic person!!! It was a miracle and he says he now has zero pain.

I have now had my procedure by Dr. Christopher Bovinet. I had it on Thursday July 27, 2017. This morning is Saturday July 29. The procedure pain is gone and, more importantly, so is my chronic back pain. For the first time in about 40 years, my back feels completely normal - except for bandages and some short-term restrictions on movement. Yesterday, I was driving - very carefully with my grandson helping me by watching where I could not twist to see - and I was able to see clients - with a lift limitation of about 5 pounds.

Even though I was awake the whole time, I did not feel any pain at all. In fact, I was amazed when it was done. It didn't seem possible that Dr. Bovinet could have done it that quickly and easily. So I was easily able to walk out on my own.

Some of my clients or close friends of theirs got the Nevro high frequency spinal cord simulators installed with a different well-known local back surgeon. They are all also 100% free of back pain. One of them would wake in the morning bent over at 90 degrees and would slowly get mostly upright. Now he wakes up and is able to stand straight and feel great. The one big difference between my doctor and their's is that they all complained of the procedure hurting their throats because their doctor puts them all the way under and consequently they had to have a throat tube and experienced a bit more from the anesthesia. One of my clients gave the doctor in charge of that a very serious warning that if he hurt him again (in the final installation of Nevro device (it is a two stage install)) that he would "hunt him down". They took special care it seems and he was not hurt as badly in the process the second time.

This place is awesome! I went here for second opinion help with serious spinal injuries in the neck and back from an accident at work. In my case I needed surgery, and there just wasn't much pain managment could do for me. I had been fighting with my workmens comp adjuster about seeing the right surgeon. Workmens Comp wanted me to have my surgery with an orthopedic surgeon, when all of the other doctors said I needed a neurosurgeon . Dr. Gage didn't just send me packing when they couldn't help me. He scheduled me for a follow up where I met Amanda who has been my bulldog. She has called my adjuster and me everyday to ensure I get the help I need. They didn't have to do this. There is no benefit in this for them at all, but they still fought every day to help me finally get my life back. Now hopefully things will look up. This isn't just a business. These people really care about you. That means a lot. Thank you!

Dr. Gauge is a SPECIAL ANGEL from GOD and the staff, we'll they treated me like a superstar and if any of you all need me for anything , just call and I'll be there YOU ARE ALL SPECIAL ANGELS to me I LOVE YOU ALL and that's not just the meds talking . THANK YOU for saving my life .
