I have been seeing Dr. Bournigal for over 15 years. After going to at least 5 other rheumatologists in Savannah and Augusta, he was the first doctor who listened to me, paid attention to my concerns, and treated me with respect and caring. Over the years, he has been professional, empathic, and caring through multiple surgeries, hospitalizations, and medication trials. He is always concerned, professional, and sensitive to my needs about everyday issues, such as medications, as well as deeper issues of trying to cope with a continuing, progressive debilitating disease. I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect and genuine caring. I am fortunate to be able to have a doctor like Dr. Bournigal! I drive 3 hours to see him and every second is worth it!
Absolutely wonderful. Dr. Bournigal went above and beyond. I felt comfortable and I'm fully confident with his treatment plan for me. The bad reviews seem so far from true! He listens and is very caring. Highly recommend and worth the wait.
Dr. Bournigal is very upbeat and friendly. He listens and is very engaging. I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I've been treated by three rheumatologists over twenty years; he is the most energetic.
I suffered for years in pain. Spent thousands of dollars on tests. Was told it was in my head..... It was awful. Then, I moved to GA and saw Dr. Bournigal and he knew, immediately what was wrong and has me nearly pain free. I'm educated so that when I have a bout coming I can act on my own to stop it or at least limit the duration. He's a great guy! We talk every visit, he always asks me how my kids, g-kids and bowling is. The man even cried when my husband passed away. I don't know where these negative reviews could even be from.... maybe they got the wrong doctor when they looked it up or something. I've been seeing him for 5 years and I would never consider leaving him!
The most kind, most compassionate doctor! He gave me lots of good information and solved my issue. Also most impressed with his staff ... very efficient and friendly. A definite 5 Star experience.
