I called Hinesville Petsmart, store #2700. I spoke to Kailey & initially only told her I lost my receipt for this nail clipper & yes its been over 60 days. She does say the system erases everything over 60 days “but give me your number & I will still try & see”. Then she says we may still be able to give you store credit, let me talk to the mgr. Already I’m feeling better, like a loyal customer, that matters to this young lady. At this point, I tell her, even if you can’t help me, I appreciate you going above & beyond in an effort to try & help me. The mgr did say bc its a grooming product they do need a receipt, which my bank will be sending me soon, & yes, with that receipt I can get store credit. I was in Brunswick shopping, about an hour away from home, when I saw this Petsmart. I needed help with a refund or store credit on nail clipper I purchased 64 days ago. I’ve looked everywhere for the receipt & have been just as busy as any other hardworking single mom, so I went through my bank to get a copy of the receipt however, that takes time. Granted this nail clipper cost about $50 which wouldn’t matter to me if I could use it but my dogs nails are black & this expensive nail clipper didn’t help in getting the job done bc it would blink different lights when close to the quick but it was never steady. So I speak to the store mgr & explain, I can’t find the receipt but I can’t use the product anything he can do for me would help. I get my dogs food, treats, toys, I even get them groomed in Petsmart bc I prefer there than anywhere else, so I’m thinking store credit would be just as helpful. Well, I didn’t get his name but this was yesterday evening, & he completely brushed me off, & told me if I didn’t have a receipt he couldn’t help me. I tried showing him my order for a receipt through my bank as it showed I paid over $100 in Petsmart that day. He said it didn’t matter & without a receipt he couldn’t do anything, in fact, even if you did have the receipt now, its over 60 days, & we can’t do anything, but I can come back tomorrow to talk to his mgr. I asked if this was just this stores policy & he said no, this is Petsmarts policy. I’m an hr away from Brunswick, I told him same & so I won’t be back to this store but I’ll be sure to call the Hinesville store where I purchased the item. He actually said, “Sorry I couldn’t help you.” Really? You didn’t even try.
Helpful staff - One girl in particular is extra helpful every time we come in, before the evacuation for Irma she helped me find a carrier that would fit our kitten even though they were sold out of their cat carriers.
